Scope

These General Terms and conditions apply to all activities, quotations, offers and agreements entered into by or on behalf of The Dutch Wine Tasting for individual participants and/or groups and/or agents, unless deviating conditions have been included in the agreement.
Quotations
Quotations are valid until 2 weeks after quotation date and based on all services as per your request. Changes in services or confirmations after 2 weeks may affect prices as per our quotation.
Any quotation is merely an obligation-free invitation to a customer, group or agent to enter into an agreement with The Dutch Wine Tasting. The actual agreement only takes effect as a result of The Dutch Wine Tasting accepting it in writing and confirming it in writing to the customer, group or agent.

Prices

All prices quoted are, in Euros (€) per service or per person as indicated.

The Dutch Wine Tasting is not responsible for currency fluctuations between the time of confirmation and the actual date the charge is affected.

Extra time for the wine tasting at the request of the customer and broken glasses are charged on the basis of actual costs. The following applies here:
– Extra time is calculated based on the rate of € 65 per hour.
– € 2,50 per glass is charged for each broken glass.
– costs for parking are calculated based on the actual costs.
The prices are excluding VAT.

Payment conditions

The amount payable for an agreement must have been paid before the start of the activity or the program.

Booking conditions

When booking an activity the customer will be asked to pay the determined amount. Once the established minimum number of people has been reached, the activity can take place and the customer will receive an email confirmation.
If the minimum number of people will not be reached, the activity will be canceled. The customer will be informed at least 24 hours in advance per email address the customer provided. The customer will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations  until 1 month prior to the start of the activity are subject to 25% charges of the booking value.
– Cancellations until 14 days prior to the start of the activity are subject to 50% charges of the booking value.
– Cancellations until 7 days prior to the start of the activity are subject to 75% charges of the booking value.
– Cancellations within 7 days prior to the start of the activity are subject to 100% charges of the booking value.
- Cancellation must be acknowledged by The Dutch Wine Tasting via e-mail.
In the event of a “no-show” on the part of the participant, group or agent, the full booking value will always be payable. No rights can be derived from a verbal cancellation.

liability

The Dutch Wine Tasting is entitled at all times to cancel or withdraw the agreement free of charge/ and can not be held liable for reimbursement of costs, damage and interest
in the event of compelling circumstances that are out of the ordinary and unforeseeable, and which cannot be rectified or avoided, including, but not limited to: (civil) war, terrorism or terrorist threat, political unrest, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, food shortages, (general) strikes, non-delivery and / or late delivery by suppliers, sickness staff of The Dutch Wine Tasting and / or third parties engaged by The Dutch Wine Tasting, serious family circumstances, fire, leakage, theft , transport difficulties.
The Dutch Wine Tasting is obliged to notify the participant immediately of the cancellation or withdrawal and the reasons for it.
In the event of compelling circumstances The Dutch Wine Tasting reserves the right to deviate from the proposed program. Participants cannot derive any rights from the proposed program.
The Dutch Wine Tasting is not liable for damage caused by the products and / or services provided by The Dutch Wine Tasting on the part of the customer or a third party, unless there is intent on the part of The Dutch Wine Tasting that caused the damage.

The Dutch Wine Tasting is neither liable to the customer nor to third parties for damage to clothing of the customer or third parties or other property of the customer or third parties except in case of intent on the part of The Dutch Wine Tasting that caused the damage. The Dutch Wine Tasting is not liable for consequential damage.

The Dutch Wine Tasting is neither liable to the other party nor to third parties for damage caused by injury to the customer or third parties except in case of intent on the part of The Dutch Wine Tasting.

The customer indemnifies The Dutch Wine Tasting against all claims from third parties for damage suffered by them caused by the services and / or products provided by The Dutch Wine Tasting unless there is intent on the part of The Dutch Wine Tasting.

Participants are responsible for having sufficient insurances, such as liability insurance .

Liability & applicable law

Agreements and all offers relating to the formation of an agreement are subject exclusively to Dutch law, including mandatory European law.
The original creative material in our proposals and website are subject to copy right by The Dutch Wine Tasting.
Our general Terms & Conditions apply to all arrangements and are available on request.

Complaints about the provided services must be submitted to The Dutch Wine Tasting as fully and clearly described and as quickly as possible, but no later than 7 days after the event took place.

If the complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute will arise.

All disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam.
